For our electrified vehicles, the perceived quality, performance, and usability of our power distribution and charging system are crucial in creating trust in the new technology and adding value for our customers. We need to support our customers on their journey to sustainability and thus transform the transport industry.
About the role
The System Owner`s role covers a wide spectrum of the customers` experiences in using the electrified truck. Concretely responsible for continuous threat analysis of the charging system, for existing functions and new feature introductions. This is done together with Cyber Security Manager, System Architect, and the rest of the system team. In addition to cyber security, the other core responsibilities will be regarding SESAMM system; SSCR management, and CAN interface management. Of course, there will be some shared responsibilities regarding FMEA, Production Documentation, and System Specification.
Whom you will join
The group EVECA Charging System and Function works with designing the overall system for charging and power distribution, developing the functional safety and cyber security for electrified vehicles, managing the system descriptions and main requirements for control software, and developing services overlapping onboard and offboard areas. We are a diverse group that operates within a new technology domain, we believe in inclusiveness, a “learning-by-doing” mindset, and having fun at work! We work in a lean-agile cross-functional setup including R&D, Sales & Marketing, Production, and Purchasing to develop world-leading charging and power distribution customer value.
We are in an exciting phase of forming a common VCT with MAN and Navistar colleagues, this means that you will be working in a highly dynamic multi-brand team, learning and developing how Traton’s future R&D will take shape!
Who you are
You are technically driven, well organized, and innovative with previous Scania experience in building system architecture and/or within functionality and system development. You have a strong customer ethos and you thrive in a cross-functional work environment where different people, domains, and competencies meet. You have good communication skills, an open mindset with a scientific approach, and a focus on the target. With a high focus on security, you will be a key part of creating and improving our security culture at the charging system.
