You will work from our office in Frihamnen with walking distance to the city center and a spectacular view of the Gothenburg harbor! About us Njord Survey was founded in 2015 with the ambition and purpose of bringing cost effective solutions to the offshore survey industry. We offer high quality geophysical and hydrographic surveys for renewable energy, navigation, dredging operations, charting, marine construction and more. We offer opportunities for personal development in a dynamic environment. Scope of work We are now looking for our next First Line Technician to take our IT department to the next level! As IT Support, you will be the support for a highly technical workforce of survey engineers, geophysicists and data processors who run advanced measurement and analysis software on a daily basis. You will be the first point of contact when something breaks for our staff. The role includes but it’s not limited to:

Receive, prioritize, and resolve support tickets as the first point of contact (first-line)

Manage accounts and access in Microsoft Entra - onboarding, offboarding, permissions, and MFA troubleshooting

Enrol, troubleshoot and monitor devices in Microsoft Intune

Support our remote access solutions for secure sign-in and access

Document solutions so the next person doesn't have to start from scratch

You will report to the Company’s Survey and Technical Director. Who we are looking for We are reaching out to a doer and a fast learner who is ready to make an impact. You are someone who:

Can take a ticket from start to finish and knows when to ask for help instead of guessing

Manages your own workload without needing reminders

Stays calm and prioritizes effectively when the pace is high and multiple tickets are coming in at once

Is curious about AI and eager to explore how it can improve the way we work

Has a solid understanding of troubleshooting and know how to develop and follow up on existing systems

Communicates effectively with colleagues and external contacts

Personal suitability will be a key factor in our selection process. Requirements Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS, including accounts and permissions

Professional proficiency level in English and Swedish, spoken and written (documentation is in English)

Legal right to work in Sweden, either through EU/EEA citizenship or a valid Swedish work permit

Merits (not mandatory) Working experience with Microsoft 365, Intune or Entra ID

A degree or education within IT or a related field

The aim of the process is for you to learn about the content of the role and for us to evaluate if you have the right profile for the position. As part of our recruitment process, the final candidate will be required to provide an extract from the Swedish Police criminal records register, since the role involves managing of sensitive information.
